AS OF NOW WE ARE RECOMMENDING OUR MEMBERS GO TO www.missionary chapel.com, JOIN THEIR SITE, OBTAIN THEIR ORDINATION, AND APPLY FOR ADVANCED DEGREES THROUGH THEM UNTIL WE FINALLY SET UP OUR PROGRAM. PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL FIND THAT OUR REQUIREMENTS ARE SLIGHTLY HIGHER. OUR REASON IS THAT WE FEEL OUR AWARDEES WILL REFLECT THEIR DIPLOMAS MORE ACCURATELY IF OUR REQUIREMENTS ARE HIGHER. PEOPLE LOOKING ON WILL RESPECTECT YOU MORE FOR ACCOMPLISHING A MORE STRINGENT DEGREE REQUIREMENT:
Under construction at the moment, this page when finished will host opportunities for everyone interested and qualified to earn their advanced Christian Degrees in AA Religious Studies, BA Religious Studies, Masters of Divinity, or Doctorate of Divinity and Doctor of Theology.
Qualifications: Each student must first at least have their high school diploma or equivalent, GED, etc. If needed, you can test and receive your high school diploma for free through Missionary Chapel and Seminary, missionarychapel.com, just pay the certificate charge plus shipping after passing their test. This is the very least of our requirements. If you have more, that is even better for you.
This is how our program will work, each student must take a knowledge test by completing Platforms #1- 7 and write and submit a thesis for every degree under a Doctorate degree and a dissertation for a doctorate degree as follows:
AA Religious Studies................ Complete Platform #1 with a passing grade plus write and submit a no less than a 1800 word thesis, about 4 typed pages of main text section., about 8 pages overall.
BA Religious Studies................ Complete Platforms #1- 7 with a passing grade plus write and submit a no less than a 3150 word thesis, about 7 typed pages of main text section, about 11 pages overall.
Master of Divinity.................... Complete Platforms #1- 7 with a passing grade plus write submit a no less than a 4500 word thesis, about 10 typed pages of main text section..about 14 pages overall.
Doctorate of Divinity or Theology: Each student must *complete Platforms #1- 7 with a passing grade and write and submit a dissertation of no less than 5000 words in the main text section, about 15 typed pages. In reality your whole dissertation will probably be closer to 20-25-30 pages long over all, but not 250 - 300 pages as would normally be required by other schools. Refer below for our requirements for page section names and order.
*NOTE: If one has a Masters Degree from somewhere else with a BA Degree back up, then that can be substituted for completion of our Platforms #1 - 7 Bible Institute courses. Your degree needs to be in a bonafide Christianity area, religious studies or the like.
A thesis or dissertation length requirement is usually, as I see it, based upon the subjects or classes taken; the pursued degree attempted; and the requirement of the college or Institution and/or instructor. As I understand it, a master's thesis is about 50 pages or more in length and can probably be termed a booklet. We require only a 10 page minimum main text section plus the extra pages totaling about 14 pages over all for a Master's of Divinity Degree.
A doctorate dissertation on the other hand is actually about 250-300 or more pages in length and is actually in reality a complete book with all references included. I have set our requirements on the low side to make things easier on everyone including myself. I have to read them all and grade them acceptable or not. If not, then I will give reasons why and make recommendations for corrections which you will do and resubmit the article to me again. There are three categories: pass, fail, and incomplete. Fail and incomplete may be upgraded or redone and resubmitted for a pass grade.
If you are submitting for an AA, BA, Master, or Doctor degree, I feel one should show that quality of work respectively. In other words, do not submit to me slipshod work and expect a degree. Just put in honest work, honest effort, and try as best you can to show you deserve your degree. Hint: Write on subjects you are most acquainted with within the field of the degree for which you are submitting.
I grade not so much on spelling and sentence structure as to content and correctness of Full Gospel doctrine. However if your spelling and sentence structure is so bad I can barely read your article, then I will request you make the noted corrections and resubmit your thesis or dissertation. Use spell check, I do all the time while writing because as it turns out, besides spelling errors, my fingers tend to hit the wrong keys while typing. Make things easier for yourself, use spell check.
Our Required thesis or dissertation structure, sections, order, and estimated length is listed below. Every Thesis and Dissertation must have the following six elements in order to be accepted as completed:
Two thesis and dissertation helps sites with examples:

ALL THESES AND DISSERTATIONS MUST BE COMPUTER WRITTEN . Do not send me hand written articles via snail mail or even email. If your hand writing is as bad as mine you are in big trouble. Your article will be sent back to you ASAP for re-submission properly. Use our thesis and doctorate submission process on this site only unless otherwise indicated. When our system is updated to work correctly, you should be able to submit your documents written in Publisher, Word, Word Pad, Notepad, or other. Right now I can read Publisher, Word, Notepad, and Word Pad files fairly easily.

SOME TIPS ON WRITING A LONG OR SHORT THESIS OR DISSERTATION IN A DAY OR TWO FROM A PROFESSIONAL WRITER:
NOTE: THE BASIS OF THIS ARTICLE IS WRITING 10,000 WORDS IN A DAY. DON'T BUST A GUT THAT MUCH SO TO SPEAK. TAKE YOUR TIME. THE WRITERS CONCEPTS ARE GOOD; HOWEVER, FOR SHORTER WRITINGS OF LESS THAN 10K THE CONCEPTS HE LAID OUT WORK JUST AS WELL FOR THOSE JUST AS IMPORTANT SHORTER ARTICLES.
Do you love losing yourself in your story? Writing for hours on end and watching your word count rise? I know I do. If, like me, you also love a challenge, the thought of writing thousands of words in a day has probably crossed your mind—maybe even the big milestone, 10,000 words.
Writing 10k in a day is an ambitious target, not for the faint of heart, but it is achievable and it’s a whole lot of fun. If you’re up for the challenge and want to get a big chunk of your first draft done, here’s my number one tip for success: plan out your 10k day. Here’s how.
Step 1: Determine Your Timescale.
Writing 10,000 words isn't something you do in a couple of hours. It takes up a considerable chunk of the day, so set aside plenty of time for it. I’d recommend between 8 and 12 hours—long enough for you to write 10k, but not so long you start depriving yourself of sleep.
Step 2: Choose Your Hourly Target
Once you've settled on how long you’ll be writing for, divide your target word count (i.e. 10,000 words) by that number of hours. For example, if you write for 12 hours with a target of 10k, that’s 834 words an hour. If you write for 10 hours, 1000 words an hour. 8 hours, 1250 words an hour. And so on.
Step 3: Schedule Your Writing Sessions.
Now that you know how long you’ll be writing for and how much you need to write each hour, you can start to divide each hour into two parts: writing time and resting time. Both are equally important. If you try writing 10,000 words without many breaks, you’ll burn yourself out fast. Equally, if you spend too much time resting and too little time writing, you won’t make your target. The trick is finding a good balance.
One way to do this is through doing a timed writing session. Set a timer going and write quickly and continuously until you reach your target word count for the hour (e.g. if you’re going to write for 10 hours during your 10k day, your hourly target is 1000 words). Don’t stop to edit, don’t agonize over word choice, don’t let perfectionism stop you in your tracks. Just write. When you reach your hourly target, stop the timer and record how long it took you to write that many words.
Ideally, you want to take at most 40 minutes to reach your hourly target, so that you have 20 minutes to rest before your next writing session. Practice writing quickly and continuously until you can reach your target in that amount of time or less. Once you can comfortably do that, you should have a good balance between writing and resting time for each hour of your 10k day.
Step 4: Get Support from Others.
Writing 10k in a day is hard. Getting support from others won’t make the physical act of writing easier, but it can improve the mental side. Tell your friends, family, colleagues, people online—whoever will listen—about your 10k day challenge and ask them to hold you accountable. Tell them your word count after each writing session, hear them congratulate you on a job well done and use their expectations to motivate you in the next writing session.
There are whole communities out there who love to write intensively for long and short bursts. Search on Twitter using the hashtags #wordsprint, #1k1hr and #10kWritathon to find other writers who are willing to join you in the 10k day challenge. Nothing makes a challenge fun like taking part alongside others.
Are you ready to plan out your 10k day? If so, keep these final tips in mind and success should be yours:
DO...
- Make sure you have somewhere comfortable to write. Sitting in an awkward position for hours and hours on end is bad for your health.
- Move around during your breaks. Rest is important but don’t just spend your breaks on the Internet. Take a short walk around the house, do some exercises, stretch out your body—anything to get the blood flowing. Trust me, you’ll need it after a few hours.
- Get support from others. Writing 10,000 words in a day is a big undertaking. Tell others about it and get them to check up on you, cheer you on and hold you accountable. It’s easy to quit when no one knows about your challenge. Tell others and give yourself the extra incentive to succeed.
- Stop to edit. You can do that another day. Your main priority during a 10k day is to get the words down and see your story take shape.
- Hesitate over word choice. As stated in the point above, editing and polishing can be done another day. This is about getting a first, rough draft down, so don’t spend several minutes pondering how to phrase a single sentence. Write down what comes to mind and run with it. Often your best, most creative ideas come from writing this way.
- Forget about breaks. Rest is just as important as work. Try writing 10,000 words in one sitting and you’ll exhaust yourself physically and mentally. Be kind and unwind between writing sessions.
*OK, THAT WAS A GOOD ARTICLE on writing that may help you in writing your thesis or dissertation; however, we have a few other suggestions to add to his.
Small reports are fairly easy to write, under 1500 words for example. It is the larger reports that are harder and require outlines before one begins typing. We have to understand that this professional writer is just that. He is used to pumping out 10,000 words in a day much of the time. You however, like me, probably are not used to that regimen. Most all the professional said is true for all writing large or small in size.
Here are my exceptions or additions if you will. Take your time, think things out, and make an outline from which to work either on paper (best) or in your mind (OK also, but easier to lose). You are not obligated to write a thesis or dissertation in one day. That is crazy talk. I have a feeling you are not a professional either, like me. If it takes you a week, that is just fine and OK. If it takes you longer that is OK also. Your project could take less time. That is OK also. You decide for yourself.
I wrote two short 9 page dissertations in a day. I am slow. It took me all day and into the night. The next day after waking up I went over my work and fixed all the errors and edited. The third day I then copied and pasted them into the site as required. Three days later I had my approved degrees which are now proudly displayed on my entry hall wall once they were received by me via paid fees and mail. Duh dump dummp, Rev. Dr. Cousins. Yups, I are a Dr. of Divinity and Theology now. He, he, he, I grin smiling big. I can now use the title of Dr. legally now.
You would be surprised just how useful a Dr. title is. The only problem I have had at times is with unknowledgeable, uninformed, or even jealous ministers who spout things unknowingly like, "Oh, you have an earned Theology Dr. and a conferred Divinity." The thinking was that all Divinity degrees are of the conferred type and the Theology surely had to be an earned degree. This is not true as I have a minister friend who has an earned Dr. of Divinity. "Nope," I say, "both conferred. I just wrote a dissertation for each." I leave it there and say no more letting them think on their own I wrote a normal length dissertation of about 250 pages while in reality I wrote considerable less, but more than what was required by the issuing agency. Do not be afraid to use your new title, but be prepared to defend it if necessary with head held high.
You can do the same here on this site. The only difference is that our requirements are a little stricter is all. On the site I used, only 100 words or more was required for a doctorate or lower degree with little consideration for grammar or spelling. We feel that is much too low a requirement and cheapens the received degree some. So, we require more words per each degree applied for as described above. We feel this is better and causes a much more comfortable desirable feeling for the degree receiver.
Spelling is important, so is grammar. My spelling is bad. My grammar is Okish. Therefore, I used for my theses and dissertations Microsoft Word & Publisher both of which has spell check and help with some grammar. Consequently, my theses and dissertations were acceptable enough even though they were not actually graded on spelling or grammar.
Our site will not grade on spelling or grammar so much because people from other non English speaking countries will have problems in this area. We are more interested in content and correctness of doctrine as long as the points of doctrine are met and clear. Take your time. Be patient and allow your thoughts to blossom forth.
